About SCMHCA

Space Coast Mental Health Counselors Association (SCMHCA) is a chapter of Florida Mental Health Counselors Association (FMHCA).

Protecting, sustaining, and advancing the profession of mental health counseling in the State of Florida is our guiding motto. We have served mental health counselors for more than 20 years, in a variety of professional ways. Our members believe in advocating for the advancement of mental health counseling professionals.

The chapter’s objective is to provide education, legislative oversight, and networking. Membership is open to any counseling profession; from licensed mental health counselors, marriage and family therapists, social workers, registered interns, students, and retirees.
